Hello,
We've created a custom field on a Jira Project and we'd want to filter by one of the options. When using the filter it is not working.
Please advise.
I would start by renaming your "Category" field. Jira already has two Category fields built into it if you've got one of the non-core applications, and that is going to give you massive problems with search already, adding a third one is not going to help.
Even if you insist on going back to Category, you may find it a useful test to rename the custom field temporarily so you can check what happens when you try to use it by a slightly different name.

Ok, so can you explain what is "not working"? Autocomplete? Search giving unexpected results? Where are you trying to use these filters?
