Unable to edit Default Screen Scheme

@eblitzer Are you a Jira admin? Only Jira admins are able to edit screens and screen schemes, if you are only a project admin then you will be unable to make changes

Hi @eblitzer  - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

You often can't edit the schemes by going through the Project Settings - you need to go through the main settings. 

So, got to Settings > Issues > Screen Schemes and then search for the one you want to change. You can then click edit and make your changes.
