We have configured two workflows in JIRA , one for story, task, bug, epics ect. and default workflow  (To do,-In-progress, Done) for sub-tasks.  When i try to complete the sprint it gives message sprint cannot be closed since sub-tasks are not in close state but they are already in done stage. What should we do?

Check your sub-task workflow and check  your "Done" status - make sure the Category is set to Done and not In Progress or To Do.

Yes all the sub-tasks are in done stage but it doesn't let me close sprint sad

Odd, usually it says they will be returned to the backlog... Do you have a Server or Cloud instance?

If it's Server, have you implemented any Code/Scripts that impact Closing a Sprint?
