When I go into Dashboards the Sprint Burndown Gadget says "There are no active sprints" even though there is. Important to note my team works in 1 week sprints. Also, how can I track velocity in Jira? I don't see an option to add it to the dashboard, assuming that's where it would appear.
Hi @vildana_ermaya,
When you configure the Sprint Burndown gadget on a dasboard, you will need to select the scrum board that has the sprints you want to track burndown for. My guess is that your configuration is referring to another board:
With respect to velocity, there is an out of the box velocity chart available from the scrum board of your project. Just navigate to your project, from the left side menu select Reports and choose Velocity chart from the report list:
Hi @Walter Buggenhout ,
Thank you so much for your response! If the gadget is on a dashboard that's owned by another admin, are they only able to configure the gadget? I don't see an option to configure the gadget in my view.
For the velocity chart, is it possible to add it to the dashboard view?

Hi @vildana_ermaya,
If the other admin is available, you could indeed best reach out to him/her. An alternative would be to take ownership of the dashboard so you could make the modification yourself. (through Jira Settings > System > Shared Dashboards).
Unfortunately, there is no native way to to display the velocity gadget on a dashboard. You may find some potential workarounds in this related question. Just be aware that the original question relates to the server platform, so maybe not every option described there is available on cloud.

Hi @Walter Buggenhout ,
Regarding sprint burndown gadget settings, where I can find the scrum board name?
In the dropdown it doesn't display the dashboard name which is I am going to add the gadget.
