Is it possible to automatically set a sev1 in Jira when creating a ticket and it's critical? Appreciate your help on this. Thank u

How are you telling Jira that it is "critical"?   Why is that not the information that something is "sev1" already?

Hi Janna,

Please define 'sev1 in Jira'. Are you talking about the priority of the incident?

When talking about 'critical', do you mean the impact field?

Via automation, the priority of an issue can be set automatically based on a matrix, f.e. impact x urgency.
