The Due Date is not displaying on Android devices in the Mobility for Jira App

Bernedette July 11, 2022

Our team would like to work on the "Mobility for Jira" mobile app, but the Android users cannot see/edit the Due date filed on the task.

Hi @Bernedette , has the Due date system field been added to the Edit/View issue screen of the specified issue type?

In the issue view, there is a More link to show additional fields like Due date.

Hi @Dave Mathijs , are you referring to this screen?Edit View - Due Date.jpg

Yes, I am. So the Due date is actually on the Edit/View Issue Screen. Then you should be able to see it on the Android Mobile app.

When clicking on Edit issue Layout from the Layout option under Issues in your project settings, you can move the Due date from "Hide when empty" to the Context fields to show it more prominently.

Thank you @Dave Mathijs - one is able to view/change the Due date after clicking on the Edit issue.

The Due date is already in the Context fields:

The Due date displays correctly on Apple iOS but not on Android devices:

Are you using the Jira Cloud by Atlassian app on Android? What version of the app? What version of Android are you on?

Strange indeed, but your app view is different from mine.

Bernedette July 11, 2022

This is the app we would like to use: Mobility for Jira (our team members use their own mobile devices so the operating systems differ).

Current device versions it is not working on:

App Version 4.7.0

ColorOS 11.1 Android 11

Example: We have 10 team members needing to use this app, three of them have iPhones and the other 7 use different mobile devices with Android OS. The Due date displays correctly on all the Apple devices but not on any of the Android devices - no matter the version.

Side note: Displays fine on the Jira Cloud App 👍

I suggest to get in touch with the Marketplace Partner in that case and submit a support request for more info.
