Suggested sprints in sprint field contains sprint not seen elsewhere

When I choose sprint from Sprint field, i get a list of sprints that I don't see in the project's board, and are defined as active or future sprints.

Where do these sprints come from, and how can I hide them or remove them from the lists

Probably other boards that might include the issue you are looking at.  Remember that boards don't have to have a 1:1 relationship with projects, and you can have many boards.
