Hi @Sukruth M S - 200 Projects is the soft limit.

More information is available here: https://support.atlassian.com/migration/docs/soft-limits-for-cloud-to-cloud-migration-for-jira/

Regards,

Raja

Hey @Raja Shekher  consider a cloud instance with 300 projects with attachements size of 5 GB when the total backup size is more should we split them in parts ?

If so, how to divide them in parts and does the site import take multiple backup files from what i know the site import wipes previous data associated can you help me with this query

Thanks and regards,

Ganesh

Hi @Sukruth M S - What I have done it in the past is -

1) Take the entire back up of Cloud

2) Create a new temp JIRA server

3) Restore the data on the temp JIRA server

4) Take the back up from the JIRA Server

5) Restore the back up taken from the JIRA server to restore it back on the Cloud.

I know this is a very Tedious process but there are some recommendation in this post

https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Software-questions/How-do-you-copy-1-project-from-one-Jira-cloud-instance-to/qaq-p/864151

Hope this helps!

Regards,

Raja
