Hello,
I'm using smart values in Jira automation to trigger a slack message when a Jira version is released. The message looks like this:
Hello, version {{version.name}} is going to be deployed:
https://namespace.atlassian.net/projects/xxxx/versions/{{version.id}}
I can see there's a new field in Jira version called "driver" where the user responsible for the version is stored. How can I access this field using a smart value to add the user responsible for the version in my slack message?
PS : I tried {{version.driver}}, {{version.driver.name}} and {{version.driver.displayName}} but none worked.
Thank you!
Damien
Hi @Damien Desrousseaux and welcome to the Community!
This feature was released very recently (see cloud release notes May 8 to 15) and probably still rolling out to sites. I don't see it in my test instance yet, e.g. I suppose that the smart values for automation as a result simply aren't available yet.
You may want to signal that to the development team via in product feedback.
Hope this helps!
Ok thank you for the answer. Yes, it's a recent feature.
I will ask for this smart value to the dev team, could you point me to the product feedback page you are talking about please?
Thanks!

Hi,
It would be very useful to be able to reference the version driver in the smart values, namely to do issue assignement, etc.
Any idea when this will become available?
