Dear all,

We have actually a staging Jira environment Datacenter running in Azure through a VMSS architecture. The performance of Jira in such environment is fine.
The startup phase of the app took bout 5mn which is reasonable

When we test the same Jira version inside an Azure container with official Atlassian docker image we face to some huge performance impact.

  • The startup phase is about 20mn which is wierd
  • When running indexing, the SQL server goes in a huge overload which does not happen with normal VM
  • Container instance are based to maximum provided by azure 4 CPU, 16MB Ram and Fileshare on Big volume setting

Does anyone of your have experience running jira in container instance and face to same slow performance issue ?

Thanks for sharing

Regards
