Sequential vs concurrent dependencies in Advanced Roadmaps

In my advanced roadmaps instance, I don't see anything different when I configure my dependencies from sequential to concurrent. If I have Story A blocking story B, and the dependency is concurrent, my dependency is still flagged as red when I start Story B and Story A together (or even before Story A ends).
What's the major difference between sequential vs concurrent then?
Can someone please explain about the usecase of each one? Thank you!
