With the Jira Bamboo plugin (which apparently is archived[1]?) it's possible to connect a Jira Release with a Bamboo build. This allows for links to artifacts for instance, which is very nice.
But it's only possible (from what I can see[2]) to start a new build or continue a paused build. It's not possible to have a green build in Bamboo and then link it with a release.
Anyone know why this is the case or how it's possible to work around it?
