You can not rename labels.
As a workaround,you can create a new label, assign it to your issues and then remove the old label.
you can follow the below mentioned steps:
- Search for issues with the label you want to rename
- Perform a bulk edit -> select all -> edit issues -> change labels -> add to existing. Add the new label (with correct name/ spelling)
- Return to your search and bulk edit again
- Perform bulk edit -> select all -> edit issues -> change labels -> find and remove these. Type the old label name.
You can not add description for label.
