Epics not showing up in the left panel in Scrum Board

We have a problem with the EPIC panel in the Scrum Board.

The left panel shows ONLY all issue types of type = Subtask.

All Epic-issue types are displayed in the normal backlog (on the right side). No Epics are displayed in the left panel.

When checking the configuration, we found out that Custom fields Epic Color, Epic Name and Epic Status had for some reason parameter "Issue type(s) = Subtask".

We unlocked those fields and changed the value for Issue type(s) from "Subtask" to "Epic".

However, the left panel is still showing only subtasks in our Scrum Board.

Any help appreciated.

If I understand your concern here, I think you are asking how to change the order of the fields as they appear on the screen.  This is something that you can change if you edit the screen where these fields appear.  The documentation on Defining a Screen explains this in more detail.

It can be hard sometimes to understand though which screen you are using in that case.  To help with that, I would recommend using the Jira Field Helper.  A quick way to find this would be to

1. Go to this issue in question
2. Edit the issue
3. In the top right corner of the edit screen, click the Configure Fields button, then select "Where's my field?"
4. look for a field that you know already exists here
5. At the bottom of this Summary -> Field Screen will tell you the name of the screen that you are currently looking at.

With this information you can the edit that screen to change the order of the fields that appear there.
