Hi, I am a new user to Jira. I have added the fields Actual Start and Actual End to my Tasks but was not able to update them. After selecting the dates, they are not saved and always revert to None.

Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks

HI @Alyssa Priddy

Here is the accepted answer is given by one of the Atlassian team members.

See this can help you to switch back to old UI.

Thanks, Yogesh. I was hoping someone had found a solution since these older posts....or that Atlassian had started listening to their customers. But, alas, it appears neither are true.

The update to the Server UI in 7.10.0 is different from the UI discussed in the thread linked above which is about Cloud. Server UI only has the new color scheme and some minor changes, it does not have the complete new UI that the Cloud version has. From what I have heard so far it will be a while, if ever, before Atlassian changes the Server UI to match the Cloud UI.
