Are you referring the workflow listed on Marketplace: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1214455/asset-inventory-for-jira?hosting=server&tab=overview
If so, you should still be able to use this workflow in Jira Cloud today. I know that this page does not indicate this is compatible with Cloud, but this site is usually used for displaying of plugins/add-ons to Jira that do tend to have more platform specific requirements such as cloud or server.
In this case though I believe you can still import this work-flow to your Jira Cloud site. You can go to your Cloud site as a site admin, then go to [yourAtlassianCloudURL]/plugins/servlet/wfshare-import
From this page search the word "Inventory" it should return the workflow mentioned above and let you continue through the process to add this workflow to your Jira site.
