We have cases where users (the assignee) adding the issue to a Sprint 1. But say the Issue is not resolved in Sprint 1, so the assignee just adds Sprint 2 to the issue. Now the Issue has two sprint to it - Sprint 1 and Sprint 2.
I have fixed this with bulk update. Educated the team on best practices but still want to check -
Is there any way we can restrict the users from adding multiple sprints to a issue? Can be a error message, can be a automation which would send an email to Mr. X saying that your good friend has added multiple sprints to same issue.?
I see that my question can be misunderstood. I am not asking about moving Jira to the cloud.
I am looking for the action "Clone+Move" for tickets, in the same process for Jira that is hosted in cloud.
There are solutions for this OnPrem but I cannot find anything about this for the cloud solution.
I want to be able, in the same action to both clone and then move a Jira ticket.
If this is not possible in the cloud solution, what process does Atlassian suggest when moving a ticket from Service Desk portal to Development Backlog project.

Hi Ragnar,
Thank you for the details, I've searched for add-ons and workaround for clone and move tickets from a project to another, but I didn't find anything that could help us.
We have a feature request suggesting the ability for cloning/moving a ticket:
Also, we have a feature to bulk clone issues:
On the comments there is an indication of an add-on to bulk clone issues, perhaps it can help you:
- Deep Clone for Jira

Hi Ragnar,
To move to Cloud, you must create a backup on Server and then upload in Cloud, there is no add-on to make it automatically.
You can follow the steps provided in the documentation below:
- Migrating from JIRA Server to JIRA Cloud
If you have any other question, please let us know.
Regards,
Angélica
