HI Team,
I'd like to ask your help. In one of our projects we have setup the required issues, however their workflows are different so their statuses are also different.
When I go to Kanban board, I'd imagine by selecting one type of issue, the kanban board would update itself to reflect the relevant statuses but unfortunately this isn't the case.
Could you please help?
Nope, you can not add/apply the permission-based on Custom Filed.
Jira does not have field level security but might be https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/23216/field-security-plugin-for-jira?hosting=server&tab=overview add-on helps you.
Please have a look at this.
Hi
We also have similar situation where we to grant the edit permission to one of the custom field to specific user/group.
Is there any option in Jira ver 8.?
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
No. 8 does not do this and Atlassian have said they're never going to implement anything like it.

No. Jira has no field level controls like that. You will need add-ons or coding to achieve it.

Hi!
It's possible but requires some action and it wouldn't be handy to use.
You should:
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Note, that this field wouldn't be visible when you "View" or "Edit" the issue. It only becomes visible/editable when you perform this special transition.

Hi, to many users to make such a changes... but thanks a lot.
