Hi All
The Epics are assigned to different team members. I'd like to define a quickfilter which shows all stories of the epics a certain user is assigned too.
When I enter the filter criteria in the JQL text field I can set the assignee filter but it filters the assignee against the assignee of the stories. I'd like to set the filter for the Epic assignee.
Can you help me with this?
Thanks, Martin
Hi All
I'd like to simplify my question:
I'm looking for a Quickfilter JQL showing all stories linked to Epics where the "Epic assigned user" is John. I can list the Epics "A", "B" and "Q" in the quickfilter jql but I'd like to prevent having to change the quickfilter everytime an new epic has been added or the epic assignee has changed.
Thanks so much for all your help.
Martin
Guess the below setup would work,

Hi @kavi shree
Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately it doesn't work. The stories not assigned to the user does not show. I documented my settings below. Would yo be able to help me with a suggestion?
Thanks a lot
Martin
Swimlines set to epics
Filter of board set to project only
Result not as expected

Is the third story is in active sprint?

Expand the Epics tab.You can see the epic(GL-51) and issue count as 3.
One of the stories should be in active sprint that is why we have only 2 stories in the backlog list.
And i thing to make sure,Epics are only visible in the left panel not in backlogs.

Hi @kavi shree
Thanks so much that you take your time to help me to fix this.
The Epic counter is on 3. But I can see only 2 stories, those are the ones who have the user assigned.
That is really strange. Thanks again for your feedback.

The other one issue that comes under the epic should be in any active sprint active sprint.Check the missed out issue's agile detail.

As you can see there are only two sprints and they are empty (0 issues). The GL-51 isn't assigned to any sprint. This is really strange?! It applies to all other ~30 Stories.

Check the filter that you are using for the board
if the filter is only retrieving story issue type alone.

Hi @kavi shree
Thanks for your reply. The filter is only restricted to the project. Type shows "All".
How does this have an affect on whether the assignee criteria in the quickfilter is applied to the Epic assignee or the story assignee?
Thanks a lot for your help.
