Project Import Error wrong Build Number - Backup from same Instance

Stephan Rothämel November 13, 2018

Jira Version 7.5.0 Server

I tried to import a Project from one to another Instance. Both Server, both Version 7.5.0

Error Massage:

This data appears to be from an older version of JIRA. Please upgrade the data and try again. The current version of JIRA is at build number '75005', but the supplied backup file was for build number '73010'.

75005 releated to 7.5.0, 73010 doesnt exist: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/jira-build-and-version-numbers-reference-347341143.html

Next Step:

Export an Project from the "Target" Project, delete these Project and import the Project to the same Instance (from his own Backup!).

Same error!

I also tried the Addon Project Configurator. Same Error Message.

I Need Help! Please ;-)

Hi,

I have the same issue.

Both Jira instances are:

  • v7.1.10#71014-sha1:8f9212c

but I have the following error when trying to import:

This data appears to be from an older version of JIRA. Please upgrade the data and try again. The current version of JIRA is at build number '71014', but the supplied backup file was for build number '71006'.

Hi Stephan!

  1. Do you remember if your instance was migrated from Cloud?
  2. Also, can you provide the results of the following database query?
SELECT * FROM upgradeversionhistory;

Best Regards.
