We are experiencing this issue when we are creating a bug or a subtask in our project. We didn't have this issue formerly as we were able to raise the bugs as normal, however experiencing this issue since Saturday last week. Please can you help here as this issue is affecting two test teams.

Seems like someone (an admin) has made that field "Platform" a mandatory field in (most likely) the field configuration.
I'd suggest taking a look there and either making it optional again or verifying with who did this what their use case is
