Hey Atlassian Community.
I'm trying to automate sending a message in Slack when certain Jira tickets are created that require an approver to Close.
It would be very helpful if this message could be periodically resent every hour or so while the ticket is still open while tagging the required approvers.
What would be the best way to go about implementing a message that sends periodically while a Jira ticket is open automatically?
Thanks!
Hi @Grant Sherman,
Welcome to Atlassian Community!
You can do this with automation. Here is a simple example:
Just make sure that the JQL used by the automation only select the issues that you want to send the message for.
Thanks for the speedy response! This looks really promising I'll look into implementing some rules.
