Hello! It's my first post here, so give me a feedback if I did something wrong :)
Problem description: In my organisation we log Original Estimate, Time Remaining and Time Spent in the subtasks, but only the last two fields are summing (inherit) into Story (parent). Ultimately, we would like to have all the working times in the Story.
Example:
Subtask (Child):
Story (Parent):
I am also surprised that in the old JIRA view, time tracking chart is displayed with correct values:
Is it a JIRA configuration problem?
Thank you for all comments. What I didn't realize was that the Original Etimate field in Story was completely unrelated to it's Subtask counterpart. Problem solved, Original estimate from Subtasks is summed and displayed on Time Tracking pop up.
There has been a longer discussion on it and, finally, the corresponding Suggestions has been implemented and currently is in with resolution "Fixed" - so it should work.

I assume that your stories will last longer than one sprint and is that the reason you'd like to carry over all the estimates?
Do you anticipate creating new subtasks for the stories that were carried over, or would you like to CLONE the story with the existing subtasks?
Our stories usually last more than one sprint. What we do is we clone stories but not subtasks.

1. Yes, our stories sometimes last longer than one sprint, but I need all the estimates for analyses.
2. I've witten about new subtasks, and I usually create them by "Create Bulk Sub Tasks" option.
