Notification - How To Notifiy members mentioned in the issue

Hi everyone,

we use the Jira Default Notification Scheme.

Now I want to configure a Notification to a team-member mentioned in the Issue .(description or comment) Like: "@member please follow up."

how can I achieve this using the Default Notification Scheme?

This may be down to your permission scheme - rather than notifications.

I'm reading this as @User is working, (name populating etc) but that the user isn't receiving an email.

Assuming that

• The outgoing mail server is working
• the issue doesn't have a security level to prohibit visibility

I'd suggest you check 

• the person mentioned has Browse permissions

I tried with my own account. -this doesn't work.

-With a "non-watching" account it worked!
