Not allow issue to move into "In Progress" if... other issue is in Progress

Jira Cloud (Next-gen project) (Kanban).

Is it possible not allow to move the issue from "To Do" to "In Progress" if the user (who wants to make a transition) another task is also "In Progress"?

In other words, how not allow for the same user to have two issues in "In Progress" column?

Hi @Simas Jokubauskas ,

unfortunately, this is simply impossible on the Cloud, because of the limitations of Jira Cloud, whatever add-ons you use. Jira Cloud only supports "Jira expressions" to define custom Validators, and Jira expressions don't support running a JQL search.

Hi Simas,

I see no way to do this with out of the box Jira Cloud. Maybe an add-on like JMWE or ScriptRunner could do that with a custom condition or validator.
