Hi All,
My team have recently purchased their own Jira cloud instance but we still have a number of issues/tickets that we need that are currently on the original jira cloud instance
I would like to migrate all live and closed issues on the original jira cloud to the new jira cloud we have purchased.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Hi @Mike Brown ,
you can either do a full backup of your current Cloud instance and import it in your new instance : this will erase any data that is currently on the new instance however, and you might have to do some cleaning up afterwards : https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/restoring-data-from-an-xml-backup-938847707.html
Another option is to do a CSV export that will only move the issues (you would have to re-create your projects, workflows, custom fields etc) : https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/import-data-from-a-csv-file/
Either option can be a good fit depending on what you need.
Let me know if this helps,
--Alexis
