Hi

We have a list of items that we want to sync into a dropdown/select list that we populate from our connect app. Currently there are just over 30000 items and we are working on correctly filtering it so it is less ...

But please advise on best standard on number of options in a select list AND also how it may affect performance?

Thank you

Yatish

Hi,

In company project, you don't have limit for option in customfield

Take a look at this thread

Thanks for the comment and link @Mohamed Benziane - I reread my question and I think I mean best practice :)

I think I mighve seen that post before too in terms of limits. But I know as general web UX, it will most likely slow down performance of editing issues so would like to know if there is some kind of 'sweet spot'/threshold telling us +- how many items we should have in the dropdown, esp if Jira does process filtering as a person types.
