Hi,
I have created a Kanban board from a custom filter. Given access to the users group and project in the filter.
Also users have project viewing permission.
Users can view/create the issues, however they can't view the kanban board contents.
Hi Diganta - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
Can you share a screenshot of what the users see?
Also, are you sure you shared the filter with the users? There is an extra step in the process that sometimes get missed. To check that, go into the board settings and then the general tab. Check to see who is under the Shares section.
Thanks @John Funk for the reply.
The user sees a blank screen when he selects the board. I have cross checked the settings, everything looks fine.

just retracing our steps here… please verify that BOTH the filter used to create the board and the board itself are shared. Check to see if one of the users can find and access the filter. If they can find the filter and issues are displayed then that is a good thing.

As you can see, user is able to see the filter, but when user clicks on the board, he gets an error message like above.

Do issues show up when he clicks on the filter. If so are there any quick filters that could be interfering with what the user is saying or not seeing on the board?

Yes, I am able to go to the board settings and issues do show up when the user clicks on the filter.

Can you share the URL for the board directly with the user (instead of going through the list above)? And what happens when the user clicks the link? What do they see?

When they click, its the same.
Is it something to do with the user group permission?

I'm guessing not, but if he is then it's time for Atlassion support I think.

Just another clue:
The boards are loading fine in the Jira app for the users. So indeed they have access to the filters and they are part of user group too.
But the same doesn't load when they try from browser.
Also there are few fields in bug/task, which are not showing up in browser, but they are loading fine in app.

We have tried multiple browsers, incognito mode etc. Nothing seems to work.
