Hello everyone,
New to the site and the solution, so I am sorry if the question is obvious.
I created a Project and I created Issues in the project.
when I try to view the issues in the Kanban Board, they don't show up.
if there a special setting that I need to put in place?
I configured the boards with my Statuses but still nothing.
Please let me know how I can fix this.
thank you for your time
Hello @Didier Kassas
Do these issues have a value in the Fix Version/s field? If so, is that value shown in the Releases tab with a status of Released or Archived?

Did you just remove the field from the Screens, or did you remove the field from the Field Configuration for this project?
Try adding the field back to the project. Kanban boards have a subfilter based on the field. Or remove the subfilter.
I've not tried having a kanban board where the issues did not have that field; I don't know if it actually makes a difference.

Basically a board is a visual representation of an issue query of the DB with some fancy features for working with those issues. So the reason that the issues are not showing is associated with what the filter. Now the answer here depends greatly on what flavor of project (Classic or Nex-gen template, software or business, etc) you have. Could you share an image of your empty board?

hey Jack
thank you for the feedback.
Attached are screenshots of my boards and issues.
as far as I am aware I am working on the Classic software templates.
Thank you for your help

thanks for the images.
Yes you are on Classic. According to your filter you should see all open issues (resolution not set) and any where the resolution has been set less than 1wk prior. Now are you sure you have open issues? Check by clicking on the Open issues link in sidebar image 1. If you do please check board settings > columns and ensure you have statuses mapped to the columns, i.e. they aren't all sitting to the right in unmapped statuses.

hey Jack,
please see screen shots of the 2 areas you talk about above, Bothe are as they should be.

well that is interesting. it looks good and your columns even show that there should be 1 in To Do, 3 in Open and 1 In Progress which equates to the 5 total issue in the previous image. It doesn't appear there is any quick filter applied here but do check that. can you try assigning one or more to you and then click on "assigned to me" just for grins. i don't expect to see anything. Something has to be filtering these issues out. I don't think it is Issue Security since you see them in Open issues list. So I see that you have a dropdown for your TSND board. Do you have another board defined? Can you click on the dropdown and select if so?
Failing this I would suggest trying to create a new board altogether. I'm missing something here.

I tried creating a new board, nothing, I even deleted the project and started again still nothing.
could it be in the field or workflow setting?
I have to say not a very user friendly interface

ok so we are overlooking something totally basic here or there is a very weird bug. I'm placing my bet on the former. Do me a favor an remove your sub-filter and change your hide completed issues to never hide.
