https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-59371

Hello,

Jira Cloud does not track the deletion of issues in the Audit Log. There is a change request to add that functionality.

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-59371

If the issue has truly been deleted there will be no record of when and by whom the issue was deleted. That is one reason why it is a best practice to remove the Delete Issue permission from most users. I usually allow only Jira Administrators to have that permission.

Alternately there are third party apps that can help you track and audit deletion of issues going forward.

Jira not visible in 'search issue'

I'm looking for a jira that I can't find. I suspect it was deleted but I would like to know by whom and when?

I am an admin on our Cloud instance and I have already launched an 'audit log' but I found nothing with its reference

NB: the original reference is still visible even when a Jira changes project

Can you help me?

Merci beaucoup @Trudy Claspill
