Jira automation: can I include an image from a custom rich text field in the message sent to Slack?

I have an automation rule setup to send a Slack message in certain criteria.  

The Slack message contains information from a custom field that allows rich text, including bolding, italics, and embedding images.  

However, when I add an image to that field, the Slack message contains a reference to the file name, but not the image itself embedded into Slack:

Is there any way to get the image to appear here in Slack?

I'm trying to do the same thing copying comments (with images) to a custom field.  If you were able to find a solution, I'd be glad to know what it was.
