Jira Xero integration

Hi, I'm working on integrating Xero as a source of data to Jira and wanted to ask if it is possible to:

Have a field that will pull data from Xero to update its values (if yes how often does it sync)

If the above is not possible with JMWE I'll integrate using Zapier, but there is a question to JMWE if there is a field that can have its values being updated using a script or something else to make it work?

Can JMWE provide a hidden field that will be visible to certain Jira users/user groups that I could configure manually?

If you're open to other apps, Elements Connect allows you to pull data from Xero into Jira.
