Jira GitLab integration

Hey guys, I have a local Gitlab and Jira Cloud. I failed to integrate them. I installed the GitLab plugin in the Jira Cloud. but it doesn't work. This plugin works with GitLab.com, but I have a local version of GitLab. What do i do? Please help.

Can you provide a link to the documentation that you are following to set up the integration?

Is your local version of Gitlab behind a firewall? If so, have you updated the firewall to allow traffic through from Jira Cloud?

Exactly what do you mean by "failing"? Are you getting an error message? What steps are you executing? What results do you expect? And what results are you getting instead?
