How would you go about creating a Jira automation to give you 'First Response Time' to the time the task in Jira is closed?

So for example:

New Jira task created - '"obtain time stamp"

all the way to

Jira task is closed - "close time"

What we are trying to achieve is "the length of the time it has taken to complete the Jira" rather than see the time stamp in each status.

You could use the smart values and the diff operator. For example.if you create a rule that triggers on issue closure then use - {{now.diff(issue.created).days}} and stuff that result into a number custom field. Give it a try and use the “log action” to record the result and then inspect in the rule audit log. Once your happy with your testing create the field and incorporate into rule. Or you could just place in comment if you don’t need to Query on the field.
