Hey guys,

We want to give the next-gen software project a try but we want to see a fully populated project to see reports and graphs.

Is there a way to do that?

Hello @Marcelo Cajueiro

There might be two ways to go about your wanting to test next-gen:

  1. use the data generator plugin
  2. create a classic project with sample data and migrate it to next-gen. See this thread for steps: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Software-questions/Creating-sample-project-in-new-JIRA-Software/qaq-p/72847

I'd recommend option 2 as it's all in house and will also give you the change to experience the migration steps from classic to next-gen. Which I imagine would ultimately be what you'd do.

However, I feel inclined to give you a heads up. Reporting in next-gen is very much a work in progress stream of work and there are plenty of common reports available in classic that are not yet ready in next-gen.
