Is there a way to add custom field in log work pop-up screen?

We have logwork function in Jira and when I click logwork, it will have a pop-up screen. I want to know if I can custom the screen or add a custom field in it. Thank you.

Hi Jason,

You cannot edit the default Log Work screen. But maybe you can create a new log work screen. You can create a global transition (any status to itself) named Log work, and you can add Time Spent and Log Work fields to the screen. So, you will be able to add a custom field to the screen and you can make it required. Please note the default Log Work button is still exists.

You're now using the built-in worklog management capability in Jira. It doesn't support adding custom fields for worklogs.

But, Tempo, is an app that implements much more advanced worklog management on top of Jira. They have the feature you're looking for, it is called work attributes.
