Is it possible when switching from Server to DataCenter to let run different instances?

We are a few company's which are at the moment uses different licenses and different Versions of Jira, Confluence and Service DESK. We have all the Server license.

Now with the change of Atlassian's license model, we think about a data center.

The problem is, that do not know if we could use it at the same time but use different instances for each company.

We are not allowed that all of that company's uses the same instance and are only separated with the roles and rights of the system.

So is it possible to use the data center solution, but setup different intances of it to completely separate the company's? But we do not want to buy different licenses for each company (that's too much money). All the company's are not more than 500 users.

We are also not able to change to the cloud, because of german data privacy laws.

Hello @Sebastian Bissor I'm afraid you have a problem here since datacenter license applies for a single environment with as many clusters as you want but it's still one jira/confluence. You can't reuse the license for all the different companies instances

Hello all, 

We have more or less the same issue and cloud is no option by security. The missing option to share data center licenses between several instances of JIRA/Confluence is a major non-feature for us. Currently we bought us time to look for possibile other solutions.

It seems, that there is no plan by Atlassian to remove this issue. Or is there any Atlassion who could you give us any hope?

Is there some where a feature request to be liked/powered?
