Is it possible to migrate an issue to a new project using Automation

As the title suggests I've been asked to create automation to move an issue to a new project based on the reporter and i can't find any field like it in the automation settings, I'm curious if there's any JSON that can be used to do this

Hi @Sean Pendleton 

Although it is possible to "move" an issue from one project to another with an automation rule, I would discourage doing that due to the possibility of errors.

Projects have different configurations, issue types, workflows, etc.  This is why Atlassian provided a specific feature to move an issue, prompting the user to answer questions as needed to succeed in the move.

An alternative is to use the rule to clone the issue into the new project, and then delete or abandon the source issue.
