I have purchased Jira but I'm new to it. I'm trying to install 7.2.4-x32 because I can't yet move to 64-bit.

I get the following errors:

Atlassian Navigation Links Plugin

Gadget Directory Plugin

Atlassian Jira - Plugins - Gadgets Plugin

Atlassian Jira - Plugins - Global Issue Navigator

Atlassian Jira - Plugins - Quick Edit Plugin

Atlassian Jira - Plugins - REST Plugin

I followed the install instructions and I don't know why these weren't installed and I don't know how to install them.

Any and all assistance appreciated!

Regards,
Frank

The plugins were installed, I think, but have failed to start.  See https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/troubleshooting-jira-startup-failed-error-394464512.html for troubleshooting.

Thanks Nic, the link you provided suggested it was a memory problem - and it was. I was installing Jira on a VM I'd previously used for something else that only needed 500 Meg. I increased it to 1 Gig and it worked.

A pity the error messages were, basically, useless, and the doco doesn't say how much memeory is required.

So, thanks for your help!

Now for the next steps.

Regards, Frank
