From what I can understand, you are having trouble installing Jira. In order for us to help you, we will need to know a bit more about the situation.

To install Jira, the method is different depending on if you're on Linux or Windows. Have a look below:

It will help us to know the following about your setup:

  • Jira version you are installing
  • Linux or Windows? If Windows, are you installing to run as a service?
  • Database type and version.
  • Java version
  • Which method of installation are you attempting, and where are you stuck?
  • Any error messages you see will also help.

Hi There - we updatet Confluence and now we get the following message:

could you help us, please ?

Pre-upgrade validation failed. Check the Confluence application logs for more details. You'll need to fix these problems and restart Confluence before you can upgrade. Upgrade error message: Cannot update schema

It appears that you have run into this issue:

Could you run through that article and the steps to correct the issue? This should work, but if it does not, please let us know what Confluence version you upgraded from, to, your database version, and the exact process you performed so far to upgrade.
