Inconsistent results from Navigator

I am getting inconsistent results from Navigator.  When I query issues directly (Key = xxx-xxxx) I get all the rows I expect.  But if I query based on a specific custom field in those same rows I don't get any of them back.  It seems like there is an indexing issue possibly but I have never seen this issue before.  Below are 2 screen shots.

@Charlie Misonne is right, it seems like an indexing issue.

If the issues are not updated after the custom field (which you use in your search) creation, they would not be seen in the search results as they are not indexed.

You have to reindex the project/Jira in order to get accurate results after creating a custom field.
