I can't see a field that is configured to display for the issue type

I am viewing a bug. I cannot see the field "Epic Name". What am I doing wrong? Is there something I should have checked but didn't?

I've validated that the Issue layout for bug contains the field. And the Issues configuration screen displays it. 

The issue type "Feature" does display the Epic Name field. This is a classic project.

Hi @amgreenwood  - Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

Epic Name will only show on Epics. If you want to see the Epic associated with the Bug, then use the Epic Link field.
