I am wanting to set the condition that a parent task cannot be moved to 'Done' if there are open subtasks. Yes, I know there are rules. However, as opposed to preventing a parent task from being closed, it AUTOMATICALLY closes it. That's the opposite of what I want.
tldr: how to add conditions, not an automation rule, to a next-gen workflow.

I know they are rolling out changes now to allow Next-gen workflows to be edited. Have actually tried to do that yet?
Yes. The only transition edits allowed are a limited list of rules:

Gotcha. I would assume that means you are stuck right now. Hopefully, there will be additional options coming, but who knows when.
