Jira 9.4 is making comments appear in evil “top posting” order where newest items appear at the top. There is a button to set the order to correct “bottom posting” order, but you often have to hit the “show more” button. Is there a preference to set the order to default to “bottom posting” so I don't have to change the sort order on each and every page?
This change is mentioned in https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftware/jira-software-9-0-x-release-notes-1142227613.html#JiraSoftware9.0.xreleasenotes-activity_tabs
but there's nothing there about how to set a defualt.
I found this:
https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/change-the-default-order-for-comments/
This is sadly a server level default, and not a user level default.
Here's hoping I can convince my admin this is a good idea.
