How to set EE in the new view?

while the time tracking field is enabled for the edit & default screens - how do I update it in the new view and how do I open the 'edit' screen ('E' shortcut doesn't work).

there is no "edit" screen separate from the "view" screen. you simply edit directly on the issue detail screen.
