How to restrict users from attach files in a specific issuetype?

Hi,

I would like to restrict users from attach files in a specific issuetype under a project.

When I searched the forum, I found similar questions, but there seem no solutions yet. Just would like to double-check it again.

Thanks.

Hi @eric lai ,

using permission scheme you can define who can attach files cross issue type. If you need to avoid that permission for a specific issue type you could work at workflow side using workflow properties (https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/use-workflow-properties/). Please take care that workflow is not shared with other issue types/projects.

As @Fabio Racobaldo _Herzum_ mentioned you could do this at a workflow level, you could also create unique screens for the specific issue type and simply exclude/remove the attachment field.
