How to indent template text in a paragraph custom field?

Robert Liden October 2, 2023

I can use asterisks to bold and underscore to italicize, but markup like : for indent and # for numbering doesn't work when setting default text.

HI @Robert Liden ,

Here's a great article on quick shortcuts and formatting:

Hope this helps.

To be clear, I'm an admin creating a custom field with a default text set. This resource you gave me cleared up my numbering problem (#space) buit for some reason the indenting (:space) doesn't want to work for me. Also, the numbnering is a bit wonky because I can't JUST put #space, I have to have some text there otherwise it won't put the numbering.

Hi @Robert Liden ,

Not sure if there is one for indent for cloud when looking at the markdown list for Jira
