How to have Cumulative Flow Diagram on JWM?

Bruno Xavier March 1, 2024

Hi there,

I am looking for Cumulative Flow Diagram on Jira Work Management. I saw recommendations to go to the normal report page (screenshot below) within my project, but once I am there, the option is not available. Can you please help me?

Hello @Bruno Xavier

The Cumulative Flow Diagram is not available for JWM projects. That report is a feature available only if you have the Jira Software product as part of your system.

If you do have the Jira Software Product available then you can get the report for your JWM project by constructing a separate Agile Kanban board based on a filter for the JWM project. You would then find the CFD report available through the Reports for that separate Kanban board.

For more information about creating that separate board refer to this article:

Hi @Bruno Xavier,

Try the Cumulative Flow Diagram Chart gadget - one of the many gadgets offered by our Great Gadgets app. It it highly configurable, supports a filter / JQL as data source (so no need for agile boards) and can calculate by various criteria.

Have a look over this article to make a better idea: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Software-articles/Building-a-powerful-Kanban-dashboard-in-Jira-with-Great-Gadgets/ba-p/1664331

Remember: There is no need to have Jira Software for using these gadgets on JWM; they work well with filters / JQLs.

Hope this helps.

Thank you,
