How to create automation that copies Labels from "new" Parent when parent changes?

I am trying to create an automation that would edit labels from the new parent when Issue is moved from one Epic/Parent to the different one.

I tried creating with: Trigger: Issue Edit> If Label!=Empty > Edit Labels = Copy from Parent. But this is not working.

Is there a way to do that without having to reply on any marketplace app? Please advise any corrections in the automation rule.

Thank you!

Hi @Nirav Patel

For a question like this, please post an image of your complete automation rule, images of any relevant actions / conditions / branches, an image of the audit log details showing the rule execution, and explain what is not working as expected.  Those will provide context for the community to offer ideas.  Thanks!

Until we see those...

Have you tried triggering on a change to the parent field instead, and using conditions on the issue type to limit which issues are changed?

Also, what do you want to happen if the parent is cleared versus changed?

Kind regards,
Bill
