How to create an automation that creates a confluence page and have the title be todays date

I have created a rule that at a certain time, a confluence page for my teams meeting notes is created. I would would like this have the rule auto set the title as todays date. I have tried using smart values to set the date in the title field but it doesn't seem to work? Any suggestions on how to do this?
